Custom Made Nightguards

Bruxism is an involuntary condition that includes clenching of the jaw or grinding of the teeth. This can happen any time of the day but usually occurs during sleep. Many people do not realize they have bruxism until someone notices them grinding their teeth in their sleep. Bruxism can result in chipped, worn and cracked teeth as well as jaw pain and/or headaches. The condition is not considered extremely dangerous but can cause pain, discomfort, and extensive dental treatment. We offer two choices of non-invasive options to protect the teeth and/or TMJ for those who have bruxism.

Sleep apnea oral device (snore guard)

A sleep study and physician prescription is required for the fabrication of an oral device used to help with mild to moderate sleep apnea. Often, snoring is a symptom associated with sleep apnea and usually leads to the recommendation of a sleep study. For those who cannot use a CPAP device, we can fabricate an oral device that is worn during the night to increase airflow during sleep.
